BMW Motorcycles Turkey is benefiting
On-Device Portal technology to deploy interactive mobile
marketing applications.
While using Mobinex
UEM Solution as the core
technology enabler, the portal design and the project management
was handled by arc Marketing Services Turkey.
“BMW Mobile Portal”, which is now available for download on
the corporate web site, enables users to reach latest
information about the company. Download process is simple;
users enter their phone numbers to receive a WAP-Push
installation message to simply download the application
over-the-air.
Currently available for Symbian Series 60 and J2ME enabled
handsets, BMW Mobile Portal includes latest BMW motorcycle
models, announcements, activities, promotional programs and
dealers across the county. The users can browse through a
list of country wise dealers and contact the selected dealer
with just one-click.
On-handset Portal applications include interactive menus,
animations, videos and images, streaming content, mobile
music and similar engaging mobile content. One installed in
the handset, users can browse the downloaded content in the
application. Branded portal application is automatically
updated OTA (Over-the-air) via GPRS or 3G mobile data access.
