Mobinex Partners with ARC Marketing
Services to deliver on-Device Portals for Consumer
Brands

Marketing Services Turkey, the integrated marketing
services arm of Leo Burnett Advertising Network, in
developing On-Device Portals for Consumer Brands.
“On-Device
Portals” enable consumer brands to communicate corporate
information through intelligent mobile applications,
which are installed to the end-user handset. A typical
On-Device Portal includes product catalog, campaigns and
promotional information, mobile shopping and any other
branded content such as videos, wallpapers, music and
animations.

In the scope
of the partnership, Arc Marketing Services Turkey will
develop mobile solutions via Mobinex’s Smartface
Platform, which enables creative developers to easily
create and manage On-Device portals over-the-air (OTA).
Creative developers can benefit a drag-and-drop based
WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) user interface to
build eye-catching mobile experiences. Smartface also
streamlines the design and testing of mobile
applications by including a built-in handset simulator,
showing the actual output during the design process.
Smartface powered on-Device portals are installed to the
handset with WAP-Push technology or they can be beamed
to the customers’ handset via Bluetooth and Infrared
link at a wireless service point. On-Device portals are
also updated with the latest information form the brands
using Sync over GPRS.
“Our patent-pending handset personalization technology
makes development of on-Device Portals the job of
marketing professionals, thus cutting costs for mobile
application development. Also, corporate IT departments
do not deploy any infrastructure with our Managed
