tourist information through an intelligent on-handset
application.
Information Guide (IG) enables any type
of content to be delivered directly to the handset OTA
(Over-the-air). Information is delivered to the handset screen
with regular updates, enabling users to reach latest
information without actually navigating a WAP page or
requesting any info. Refreshes of data
sources are provided by RSS Feeds and XML Web Service
connections to various content platforms.
Once installed on the handset OTA
(Over-the-air), IG is always accessible
to the subscriber, and works without a GPRS/3G
connection until
the next content update.
